Marcus is the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of NuAFrikan Theatre, and Editor and Contributor of Down Stage Pass.

He is an adjunct professor of the Department of Speech, Communications, and Theatre Arts at Borough of Manhattan Community College, where he received an A.S. in Theatre. He also holds a B.A. in Theatre and a M.S.Ed. in Educational Theatre from City College of New York.
